Gail Anderson

This month, we’re featuring Gail Anderson! She is a designer, writer, educator, and creative director from The Bronx in New York City. Her work has been in subways, theatres, and social media over the past 30-40 years. She is an award-winning and well-renowned designer for her book covers, theatre posters, and editorial work.
She is the co-founder of the Anderson-Newton Design agency in NY, which has had clients such as the New York Times, WIRED, the USPS, and TIME magazine. She has also worked for The Rolling Stone as a creative director. Currently, she is the Chair of the School of Visual Arts’ BFA Advertising & Design Departments, where she continues to educate design students today!
